Our therapists are dedicated to providing a holistic approach to therapy, assessing each child’s gross and fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-regulation skills. OT is unique in the way we assess each individual child. OT on the Go is a mobile practice developed for children with limited access to therapy. Therapy that comes to your door, private school, daycare or at a local park. We offer experienced occupational therapists with over four decades of combined experience. Our clinicians demonstrate exceptional knowledge and understanding of child development and use the sensory integration framework to improve therapeutic outcomes. Our therapists have experience with various programs such as:
The Zones of Regulation
Sensory Integration Therapy
Therapeutic Listening
The Astronaut Program
The Alert Program
How Does Your Engine Run?
Rhythmic Movement Training,
Handwriting Without Tears,
Zaner-Bloser Handwriting.
Most importantly, our therapists provide parents with ongoing support and education for an understanding of their child’s current level of performance and how to incorporate appropriate strategies at home.
The OT bus is fully equipped with a sensory gym. It is used for individual and small group therapy.
Imagine the convenience of not having to travel to an outpatient clinic. Ideally, OT on the Go can reach rural areas, communities that homeschool, serve children within private schools or daycare, families with multiples, and busy schedules.
OT evaluations include parent/caregiver interviews, child history and rapport building sessions with each child. Comprehensive assessments and functional summaries using standardized and non-standardized measures will be completed based on the needs of the child and family.
